Terms and Conditions

Chef Miks operates by advance reservation only.
Bookings must be confirmed a minimum of 1 week prior to the event date.

A booking is secured only once the required deposit is received.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. This deposit is applied toward your final invoice.

Final payment is due before the event date as outlined in your invoice.

Final pricing is based on:
• Guest count
• Menu selection and ingredients
• Service style and complexity

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable
• In some cases, cancellations made earlier may be eligible for a future credit (at Chef Miks’ discretion)

Due to ingredient sourcing and scheduling, last-minute cancellations result in financial loss.

Final guest count must be confirmed at least 5 days before the event.

Reductions after this time will still be charged at the agreed number. Increases may not be accommodated on short notice.

Clients must communicate all allergies and dietary restrictions in advance. While care is taken, Chef Miks cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment in private kitchens.

The client agrees to provide a clean, safe, and functional kitchen space with working appliances and adequate preparation area.

Chef Miks is not responsible for limitations caused by inadequate facilities.

Service timing must be agreed upon in advance. Delays exceeding 1 hour caused by the client may result in additional charges.

Chef Mik's may take photographs and short video clips of food presentation, table setups, and kitchen preparation for portfolio, website, and social media use.

We respect client privacy. Guests will not be photographed without permission. If the client prefers that no media be captured at their event, this must be requested in writing prior to the event date.

All media captured remains the property of Chef Mik's and may be used for marketing and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Chef Miks is not responsible for pre-existing property damage or accidents not caused by negligence. Once food service is complete, responsibility for storage and consumption transfers to the client.

Chef Miks is not liable for cancellations or delays due to circumstances beyond control, including extreme weather, emergencies, or government restrictions.

Because every event is custom planned and ingredients are sourced specifically for your menu, the following policy applies:

Due to the nature of prepared food and private dining services, returns are not applicable once services have been delivered.
